Maria Herrera, MD

Dr. Herrera is the founder of New York Physical Medicine (NYPM) and New York Physical and Aesthetic Medicine (NYPAM).
She earned her medical degree from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. She completed her specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and Stony Brook University Hospital.
As a Board-Certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Herrera aims to restore function to those who have been disabled as a result of disease, disorder, or injury. She has augmented her expertise by becoming a certified acupuncturist and also achieving board certification in medical aesthetics.
Christina Pugliese, DPT

Dr. Christina Pugliese obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University and also has a Bachelor's in Science and Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. With a rich background spanning various specialties like pediatrics, orthopedics, neurorehabilitation, and vestibular health, she is well-versed in numerous therapeutic approaches.
Dr. Pugliese's areas of proficiency encompass:
