A standard session typically lasts around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the patient's needs and treatment plan.
Physical therapy should not be painful, although some discomfort may be experienced during certain exercises or techniques. Our therapists will work closely with you to ensure your comfort and adjust treatments as needed.
In New York, a doctor's referral is required for physical therapy. However, I am able to evaluate patients even if they do not have a referral and can then refer them to physical therapy if it is necessary.
The number of sessions required depends on the individual's condition and response to treatment. Our therapists will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan and monitor your progress.
