Photo-Facial/IPL & Laser Skin Resurfacing

Photo-Facial/IPL & Laser Skin Resurfacing

Photo-Facial/IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Laser Skin Resurfacing are advanced skin treatments that rejuvenate the skin. While Photo-Facial uses broadband light to treat various skin imperfections, like sun damage and redness, Laser Skin Resurfacing employs a precise laser to target damaged skin cells, promoting collagen production and reducing the appearance of fine lines, scars, and irregularities. Both procedures aim to give the skin a more youthful, even-toned appearance.

The Nordlys™ System

The Nordlys system is an intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser device used by aesthetic treatment providers. It is a versatile platform that treats 22 conditions ranging from pigmentation (dark spots), redness, skin textural irregularities via skin resurfacing, and even hair removal. The IPL on the Nordlys system is unique in that it offers a narrowband of light exposure compared to broadband light (BBL) type systems. This means that less heat is delivered to the skin with better targeting, more comfort, and minimized risk compared to older IPL technologies. The IPL technology on the Nordlys system is called Selective Waveband Technology, or SWT®. SWT uses water and light filtration and customizable light pulses to create a highly targeted and comfortable treatment, that doesn’t compromise on results and can minimize your post-treatment downtime! The Nordlys system also offers non-ablative fractional skin resurfacing (1550 nm and 1940 nm wavelengths)

Our Nordlys system provider is trained to identify the right Nordlys system technology to use for your particular condition and skin type.
